Persuasive Writing

Adjectives Worksheet

A couple of worksheets which focus on using adjectives for judgement or evaluation. Students rank adjectives according to strength in one and then colour according to negative and positive connotation on the other.

Both include a ‘Modified’ version (marked ‘M’) for students with lower ability.

Hi. Thanks for posting the exercise. Could you tell me if this exercise is drawn from a book? I would like to use it in class but would need to reference it appropriately. Thanks for your help.

      Hi there
The adjectives ranking activity was my own (and not from a book), so reference this site, no problem. My year 8 class even generated the words!
      Enjoy
      Duffy.
